...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers inLouisiana...Red River At Grand Ecore affecting Red River, Grant andNatchitoches Parishes.For the Red River...including Dekalb, Index, Fulton, SpringbankFerry, Shreveport, Coushatta, Grand Ecore...Minor flooding isforecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Red River at Grand Ecore.* WHEN...Until Friday evening.* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding of several hundredacres both upstream and downstream from Grand Ecore take placewith backwater flooding of tributary bayous that include BayouPierre up through Powhattan, Louisiana. Backwater flooding alsoaffects Iatt, Saline, Black, and Nantaches Bayous. Move livestockand equipment to higher ground away from levees.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 34.7 feet.- Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 34.7 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.7feet just after midnight tonight.
