Does it ever stop snowing in Canada?
In short, it varies.
Victoria, you can normally put away the shovel (if you even own one) by the end of February. But in other parts of Canada, it can feel like an eternity until the last flakes stop falling.

On average, places across southern Ontario typically have their final shovelable snowfall (more than 2 cm) between late March and the first week of April.
No surprises when you trek further north, where you tack on an extra couple weeks toward Ottawa and Southern Quebec. It’s even worse across Atlantic Canada, which has to wait until late April or early May before the snow events ease.
How bad can it get?
In recent memory, May 2020 featured some light snowfall across southern Ontario, but that's a worst-case scenario. We all felt for St. John's in June of 1976 or Timmins on June 10, 1980.
Snow sticks around much longer across Western Canada.

The undisputed snow champs of Canada can have some painfully late snowfalls; only the City of Calgary could still average 21 cm of snowfall in April. Alberta is no slouch at late snowfalls, with some extreme and rare snowfall events transpiring throughout June.
The greatest Canadian summer snowfall of all time? 26 cm of snowfall on August 22nd, 1992.
