Flooding in London,Ontario

3603 views Tim van Hees February 21, 2018 London, ON Date shot: February 21, 2018

The Thames River flooded due to the melting snow and three days of rainfall, so it has flooded my mother-in-law's backyard. The river is usually way at the back of the property where the trees are (going across the photo). The water is about 7-8 feet deep but looks shallower by the toolshed due to the slope of the property. This is the highest we've ever seen it here. Notice the tree fallen down from the neighbour's yard as well. On the side of the toolshed you can also see a higher water line, showing the level has actually gone down a bit.
